Ms. Burchik is a partner in the Lebanon firm of Buzgon Davis Law Offices, where she concentrates her practice in family law. Ms. Burchik was the first woman and first elected President of the Lebanon County Bar Association. She served two terms as President and continues as Chairperson of its Family Law Committee. She is a member of the Family Law Section of the Pennsylvania Bar Association where she serves as Co-Chair of the Legislative Committee. She is a founding board member of the Lebanon County Commission on Women. Ms. Burchik currently serves on the boards of the American Heart Association and the Lebanon 2000 Foundation. Ms. Burchik is certified as a divorce and custody mediator, having completed the 40 hour Divorce and Custody Mediation Training as the Lancaster Mediation Center in 2002. Ms. Burchik was recently named to Philadelphia magazine’s “Pennsylvania Super Lawyers 2005, 2006 and 2008” in the category of family law. Before entering the practice of law, Ms. Burchik taught in the public school system, focusing on special education students and autistic children. She received her J. D. from Widener University School of Law. Ms. Burchik attended Mount Mercy College (now known as Carlow College) and the Cleveland State University. |
