Derek Manifior is an Attorney with Buzgon Davis and takes pride in being a passionate advocate for his clients.
While in law school, Derek was a member of Temple’s Integrated Trial Advocacy Program where he learned essential skills to be an effective litigator. He was awarded the Certificate in Trial Advocacy from Temple University in May of 2021.
Born and raised in a small community, Derek believes that a people-first approach to the practice of law is key to achieving success for his clients. Simply put, he advocates for his clients as though he were advocating for a family member or friend and is focused on achieving results.
During law school, he held internships at the Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas as a judicial intern for the Hon. Thomas P. Rogers and with the U.S. Department of Labor where he assisted with the prosecution of wage and hour violations. He also clerked for Kamensky, Cohen & Riechelson in Trenton, New Jersey where he learned the importance of developing client relationships. Derek also volunteered with the Employment Advocacy Project and completed a clinic with the Philadelphia City Solicitor’s Office.
Outside of practicing law, Derek enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, traveling throughout the country, playing the piano, running, and hiking.
